The Benoni Islamic Propagation Centre was founded by a few brothers who were concerned about the lack of Propagation of Islam to Non-Muslims

The second concern was those who are Muslims, but due to unforeseen circumstances is not practicing the Religion in accordance with Islamic principles.

One person who needs to be acknowledged for bringing the BIPC to its current status and has a very strong passion for Dawah is the current Ameer (Chairman) Imraan Mohammed Khan. He is the Nephew of Marhoom Moulana Yasseen Khan (Ex vice Principal of the Benoni Muslim Jamaat – BMJ). He also has a keen interest in Comparative Religious studies and is the Author of the book “Awake to the True Religion of God”

The vice Ameer is Zakariya Yasseen Khan – Son of Marhoom Moulana Yasseen Khan.Zakariya has vast experience in Islaah Dawah to Muslims and Dawah to Non-Muslims. He has also completed various Local and International Dawah Courses.

The Centre Manager is Moulana/Haafiz Ismail Abdul Hamid. Moulana completed his studies in Springs Darul Uloom.

The resident Muallima is Apa Mariam Rajab who completed her studies in Delmas Darul Uloom under the guidance of Moulana Lambat from the Darul Uloom Heidelberg.

Both the Ameer and Vice Ameer attend to the Spiritual Care for the Muslim Inmates at the Leeuwkop Maximum Prison and Sun City Prison Medium A.

Our Aim and Objectives

To provide Training to Muslims to aid them in Giving Dawah (Daee’s).
o provide complete and accurate information about Islam and Muslims to the General public (Targeting the Non-Muslims).
To convey information about Islam through our website and literature.
To host events with presentations on Islam to groups and individuals.
To provide Islam (beginner) courses for new Muslims and People of other faiths.
To assist new reverts to Islam by learning the basics of the faith and its practices.
Very important Non-Muslims do not have access to any Islamic facility to learn about Islam. This Dawah Centre will fill this gap that is desperately needed in South Africa.

Responsibilities and Functions of the Dawah Centre

All Dawah related activities for the entire Humanity (Global Outreach).
Classes for Revert Muslims.
Classes for non - Muslims interested in Islam.
Classes for Muslims to enhance their knowledge in Islam both Basic and Advanced.
Hifz Classes and Makhtab (Madressah).
Dawah Training for Madressah Students.
Practical demonstration of Wudhu and Salaat .
Corporate Training Dawah.
Networking with all Muslim Dawah organisations in South Africa.
Street Dawah, Door to Door Dawah, Post Box Dawah, Email Dawah, Gazebo Dawah and outreach programmes, Interfaith Dialogues – Direct Invitation to Islam.
Prison Dawah – Serving the Muslim inmates at Sun City Prison – Approximately 450 inmates and Leeuwkop Maximum prison approximately 75 inmates.

Has the thought ever crossed your mind that your non-Muslim acquaintances will face Allah Ta’ala in in the Hereafter? The Non-Muslims will hold us accountable for not inviting them to Islam.
